Refurbished shop re-opens with support from Muaitheabhal

Donnie Morrison (Trustee) and Ralph Tonge (Manager) were delighted to attend the re-opening of the Harris Charity Shop, Tarbert last week.

The shop has been established in its location next to the Car Park in Tarbert for many years, and all of us at Muaitheabhal Community Trust were pleased to contribute towards the renovation of the shop.

All who attended were moved by the story of the shops origins, since it was set up as Harris Disabled Group by the late Murdina MacDermid MBE whose inspiration was clearly still felt.

If you are visiting Tarbert, please do visit the shop and support this extremely worthwhile organisation who are in turn helping many other charities and individuals with their work.
