Muaitheabhal in Action

£1 Million

Over £1million invested in our community since 2013. Our heart is in our community and our primary purpose is for the people and communities that live here.

£500k

£500k spent on community infrastructure development. Without our funding, many organisations and resources would not be in place. We have invested in community shops, hostels, museums, and more.

£230k

£230k funding to island-wide projects. We have funded projects with benefit across Lewis and Harris including Macaulay College, Stramash Festival, Islands Book Trust, Aline Woodland, and Colour Run Castle Grounds.

£90k

£90k provided to Community Councils. We work with Community Councils in Pairc, Kinloch, North Lochs, and North Harris to provide funding for small community projects matched to the needs of those areas.
